These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Sooq Live, a used-car marketplace for Bahrain published by an individual developer in the Kingdom of Bahrain. By using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Sooq Live is free to use and has no paid features.
1. Who can use the app
- Anyone can browse listings and subscribe to alerts, as a guest or with an account.
- Posting a car requires a signed-in account and you must be 18 years or older. The app is not directed at children under 13.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your sign-in details private.
2. What the app is (and is not)
- Sooq Live shows car listings from three sources: public posts of Instagram seller accounts (with attribution and a link to the original post), cars posted by users in the app, and market statistics.
- Sooq Live is not a party to any sale. We do not inspect cars, verify sellers or buyers, or handle payments. Deal directly with the other party and check the car and its papers before paying.
- Market figures ("market average", "market report", offer guide) are estimates compiled from public asking prices across Bahrain. They are not valuations, guarantees or advice.
3. Posting a car
- You must accept these Terms before you post.
- A listing must be for a car you own or are authorised to sell, must be accurate, and must contain one car only with real photos of that car.
- Your phone number is shown publicly on your listing so buyers can WhatsApp or call you. By posting you consent to this.
- Listings are checked automatically before publication. We may hide, edit or remove a listing at any time, with or without notice.
- Each listing lives 30 days. Renew it, mark it sold, edit it or delete it from "My cars".
- Not allowed: anything other than a vehicle for sale, scams or fake prices, stolen or encumbered vehicles without disclosure, duplicate listings, third-party advertising, other people's contact details, or offensive content.
4. Content rules and safety
- We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
- Every listing has a Report button, and every seller can be blocked from the listing screen.
- Reported content is reviewed and removed within 24 hours, and repeat offenders are removed from the app.

5. Instagram sellers
- By connecting your Instagram professional account you authorise Sooq Live to read your public posts and to display them in the app with attribution and a link back to Instagram.
- You can pause or disconnect at any time from the Sellers page, and optionally remove your listings.
- You will see aggregate view, open and contact counts for your listings.
- You must be the owner of the connected account and comply with Instagram's terms.
6. Your content
- You keep ownership of what you post. You give Sooq Live a free, worldwide licence to store, display, share (for example as share links and share cards) and process your listing (including automated car-detail extraction and safety review) in order to run the app.
- The licence ends when you delete the listing or your account, except for copies kept in moderation records.
7. Contacting sellers
Use a seller's contact details only to ask about that car. No marketing, spam or harassment. Respect a block.
8. Account deletion and termination
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, or through sooq-live.com/deleteAccount.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms or the law.
9. Disclaimer and liability
- Sooq Live is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- To the extent permitted by law we are not responsible for listings, sellers, buyers, deals, disputes between users, content from Instagram or other third parties, price estimates, or data loss or interruptions.
10. Indemnity
You agree to hold Sooq Live and its developer harmless from claims arising from your listings, your use of the app or your breach of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Disputes are handled by the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted in the app and on this page with a new date, and you will be asked to accept it again before posting. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.
