Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Sooq Live, a marketplace for Bahrain published by an individual developer in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Sooq Live offers used cars and new and used spare parts. By using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Browsing and car listings are free; parts orders are paid on delivery.

1. Who can use the app

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. Anyone 13 or older can browse listings and subscribe to alerts, as a guest or with an account. The app is not directed at children under 13.
• Posting a car requires a signed-in account and you must be 18 years or older.
• Ordering a part requires a signed-in account, a delivery address in Bahrain and, before your first order, acceptance of these Terms. You must be 18 years or older.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your sign-in details private.

2. What the app is (and is not)

• Sooq Live shows cars posted by users in the app, and market statistics.
• For car listings, Sooq Live is not a party to any sale. We do not inspect cars, verify sellers or buyers, or handle payments between users. Deal directly with the other party and check the car and its papers before paying.
• For Parts, Sooq Live sells new and used parts sourced from partner sellers; every part is marked New or Used before you order. Sooq Live sets the price you see, arranges delivery and collects payment on delivery (cash or BenefitPay). The partner seller is not named to you, and Sooq Live is the seller of record for every parts order (see "Parts orders").
• Market figures ("market average", "market report", offer guide) are estimates compiled from public asking prices across Bahrain. They are not valuations, guarantees or advice.

3. Posting a car

• You must accept these Terms before you post.
• A listing must be for a car you own or are authorised to sell, must be accurate, and must contain one car only with real photos of that car.
• Your phone number is shown publicly on your listing so buyers can WhatsApp or call you. By posting you consent to this.
• Listings are checked automatically before publication. We may hide, edit or remove a listing at any time, with or without notice.
• Each listing lives 30 days. Renew it, mark it sold, edit it or delete it from "My cars".
• Not allowed: anything other than a vehicle for sale, scams or fake prices, stolen or encumbered vehicles without disclosure, duplicate listings, third-party advertising, other people's contact details, or offensive content.

4. Parts orders

• How an order works: you request a part for your car; a partner seller confirms it is available with a photo of the actual part; you confirm the price, which includes delivery; our driver collects the part and brings it to your address; you inspect it at the door before you pay.
• Prices include our margin and the delivery fee and are final once you confirm. Any unpaid delivery fee from an earlier order (see below) is added to your next order.
• Inspection at the door: check the part before you pay. You may refuse it at the door. If you changed your mind or chose the wrong car, you pay the delivery fee only. If the part is wrong, damaged or not as in the photos, you pay nothing.
• Not reachable: if the driver cannot reach you after two calls, the part goes back and the delivery fee is added to your next order. After repeated no-shows, cash on delivery may be disabled for your account.
• Check warranty: every part shows its check warranty (a number of days set by the seller, or none) before you confirm. Body and interior parts, and any part with no check warranty, are final sale once accepted at the door.
• Returns: report a problem from the order within the warranty, with photos. We review it within 48 hours. An approved return is collected by our driver and refunded — the part price plus the original delivery fee — in cash at pickup or by BenefitPay to the number you give, or replaced with the same part from another seller with free delivery. A rejected report is explained in the app.
• Your note to the seller must not contain phone numbers, links, e-mail addresses or other contact details; they are removed automatically and the deal stays in the app.
• Sooq Live is the seller of record for parts orders. Partner sellers and drivers act on behalf of Sooq Live; deal with them only through the app.

5. Content rules and safety

• We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
• Every listing has a Report button, and every seller can be blocked from the listing screen.
• Reported content is reviewed and removed within 48 hours, and repeat offenders are removed from the app.
• To report anything else, email info@sooq-live.com.

6. Your content

• You keep ownership of what you post. You give Sooq Live a free, worldwide licence to store, display, share (for example as share links and share cards) and process your listing (including automated car-detail extraction and safety review) in order to run the app.
• The licence ends when you delete the listing or your account, except for copies kept in moderation records.

7. Contacting sellers

• Use a seller's contact details only to ask about that car. No marketing, spam or harassment. Respect a block.

8. Account deletion and termination

• You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, or through https://sooq-live.com/deleteAccount.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms or the law.

9. Disclaimer and liability

• Sooq Live is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• To the extent permitted by law we are not responsible for listings, sellers, buyers, deals, disputes between users, third-party content, price estimates, or data loss or interruptions.
• For parts orders, our responsibility is limited to the refund or replacement described in "Parts orders", to the extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to hold Sooq Live and its developer harmless from claims arising from your listings, your use of the app or your breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Disputes are handled by the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted here and at https://sooq-live.com/termsOfUse with a new date, and you will be asked to accept it again before posting a car or ordering a part. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.
